“ Since we miss Malay and Singaporean food, this place is the only one we found that has some great foods. The appetizer was the chicken satay. Perfection! I tried the Singaporean noodles, and while I don't manage well spices, it was a bit for my taste. It was delicious. My husband ordered the ginger fish. Absolutely delish! I wish I ordered myself. Came with a white rice cup and it was the perfect companion for the meal. ”
“ 5 stars for the food, service, and speed that they were able to prepare our food. We asked for a medium spice level and usually (in Utah) that equates to barely any spice -- at this restaurant, medium spice is Medium spice. We absolutely loved the food and will 100% be back! There is indoor seating here but I didn't see any outdoor seating. Parking is free and abundant in their lot. ”
“ This place exceeded my expectations! Everything on the menu looked so good I had a hard time choosing. If you're unsure of what to order or want to try a variety of Javanese food definitely go with the combination plate. It's a ton of food, enough to share or take home leftovers, and you get to try different sorts of meats, rice, noodles, etc (see the photo!). ”
“ We are from LA and come up here to ski every year. This is a must go! If Michelin guide reviewed here, we think it’d would get bib gourmand. Katie was incredibly nice and served us with such care and was so helpful with picking dishes! We just wish this restaurant was in LA so we could enjoy such incredible Indonesian food. It’s incredibly authentic and everything was cooked to perfection. We highly recommend the Roti Canai, Beef Rendang, and the spicy eggplant. ”
“ We were out of town and just found this interesting restaurant so my husband and I tried it. It's small but clean and looked like a family owned restaurant. The server was nice and helped us with the menu. We tried several dishes and they were tasty. They even had an appetizer similar to the Filipino kikiam which is ground pork rolled in tofu skin which was really good. ”
“ Incredible and niche Indonesian restaurant! I was so happy to find a unique restaurant like this in the southeast valley. Too many restaurants there tend to be chains. This place mainly serves Indonesian food with some fusion items. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and modern. We liked the metal tables. The staff were good. Our waitress was friendly. Our only complaint is the timing of the meals was off. Our appetizer came after the main meals. The menu has something for everyone. It wasn’t too big but it was hard to pick what to try. The prices were extremely fair. All the food was excellent. We had calamari and scallion pancakes for apps. The calamari came with tempura which was excellent. My entree was noodles with wontons and pork belly and was amazing. ”
“ I had such a great experience at this restaurant! The server was incredibly kind and attentive—super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The chicken skewers were absolutely delicious. And the mango sticky rice? So good! Sweet, fresh, and just the right amount of creamy. Everything from the food to the service made the whole visit really enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d come back to! ”
“ WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We even had our wedding dinner here. We’re here almost once a week and have definitely become regulars because the food is SO GOOD and the family that owns the restaurant is so kind! I have celiac and they are able to do gluten free food for me. For the wedding they hosted a completely gluten free buffet of all our favorite dishes. We highly recommend the Singapore noodles, the laksa, the red curry fish, the Nasi Goreng Jawa, and of course the Makanmakan wings. Even our guests who describe themselves as *not* foodies were amazed by the food. ”
